ASIA PETROCHEMICAL PLANTWIDE OPTIMIZATION
A large Korean Petrochemical complex comprising Condensate Fractionator, Aromatics and Olefins plants struggled to make the optimum processing decisions in the face of changing market prices and plant constraints. Our Prize™ plantwide optimization was deployed and is supported through a BPaaS subscription service. The results have been increased complex-wide gross profit margin by optimizing the overall feed make-up and optimizing the integration between individual plants to maximize the recovery of the most valuable products in near real time.
ASIA REFINERY ENERGY AND MARGIN IMPROVEMENT
A large integrated refinery and petrochemical complex wanted to improve energy consumption and emissions while improving refining margins. The first phase of the project targeted the capture of low capital/no capital opportunities in the range of US$2 - 5 MM/Year benefits while maximizing low quality energy recovery, optimizing hydrogen production and use and maximizing LPG recovery and Crude Unit throughput. Our team conducted a comprehensive Opportunity Capture workstream together with the client team, to develop and implement opportunities to improve margins and reduce energy costs.
NORTH AMERICAN REFINER CORPORATE ENERGY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Project at nine refineries to capture low capital/no capital energy opportunities in the range of US$2-6 MM/Year benefits per refinery and improve Solomon EII number by 3 - 5 points. Optimize hydrogen production and use and maximize LPG recovery while maintaining fuel gas heating value. Opportunity Capture workstream with the client team develop and implement opportunities to improve margins and reduce energy costs in parallel with the deployment of a dashboard system to support Operations with the optimization of energy, hydrogen, and LPG economic drivers consistent with the refinery plan, current economics and current plant constraints. Developed and implemented best practice business processes to continuously improve and maintain the system provided.
ASIAN NATIONAL ENERGY COMPANY CONNECTED WORKER PROGRAM
Our team is working with the central digital, research and technical teams as well as individual operating units to test and deploy connected worker solutions to field workers. To date Realwear devices and software applications for remote assistance and mentoring have been rolled out on offshore production platforms, a floating LNG production unit, an Oil & Gas terminal, a large refining and petrochemical complex and a major onshore LNG liquefaction facility. Designs for digital workflow for processes such as inspections are underway.
MULTINATIONAL SERVICE COMPANY CONNECTED WORKER PROGRAM
The Surface division of a major energy services company has begun rolling out Connected Worker support for it’s drilling operations in Asia and the Middle East. Company workers at the drilling site are supported by remote experts over live voice and video link in a hands free mode so that they can communicate while performing work tasks.
